On the fourth Sunday of every month, we meet at Green Haworth Primary school, for our afternoon family service of Holy Communion. It is an interactive service for all ages, with singing, prayers, Bible readings, a short talk, and we share bread and wine together, remembering Christ's sacrifice for us.

After the service, we enjoy some tea, coffee, and cakes together.

All are welcome.

St Clement

Green Haworth Church of England Primary School has always had a dual-use building shared with the church.  Services have been held regularly here since 1833.

The parish of Accrington St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
