Join St Mary Magdalen's congregation for a quiet early morning celebration of the Mass

Celebrate the Holy Eucharist in a relaxed friendly environment , you could even come early and join Jump Start to listen to half an hour of singing and worship through our more modern hymns. stay afterwards where there is always a warm or cold drink and biscuits (or cakes if we are lucky) and plenty of chat and fellowship in a Covid safe environment.

Join St Mary Magdalen's congregation for their main Sunday celebration of the mass. We aim to ensure our worship is family-friendly, and provides a welcome for all.

As Mothering Sunday falls on the fifth Sunday of March, we will celebrate a Joint Parish Mass at St Mary Magdalen's at 10.00 am. All are welcome to join us! Please note that there are no other masses celebrated in the parish on that day.

This year's Chrism Mass will be held at Blackpool St Christopher, on the evening of Palm Sunday. Come along to share in the celebration of this important liturgy, when the clergy renew their promises of ordination, and when Holy Oils are blessed for the parish to use over the coming year.

Join us as we celebrate the Easter Vigil in the darkness of Holy Saturday night. We begin with the New Fire of Easter in the churchyard, before moving into the dark church with the new Easter Candle, to hear some of the story of our salvation in the Old Testament. We then move to the Font to renew our Baptismal Promises, before celebrating the joy of the Resurrection in the first Mass of Easter. This is the highlight of the Church's year, and all are welcome to join us. There will be a celebratory drink after the service!
