About Us
St Andrew's is a friendly, welcoming Church for all the family. Our Sunday Eucharist is accessible to all, combining both a traditional and modern approach to our worship. Our flexible space allows for changes to the way in which we worship (Covid permitting!), and we aim to use our space well.
St Nicholas' School lies within our parish, and we look forward to resuming Friday Praise in the coming autumn; an opportunity to worship in a much more informal style, with activities for the whole family.
We are always happy to welcome those who are exploring the possibility of marriage, or would like their children baptised/christened. Baptisms take place during the 9.30 am mass on Sunday mornings. If you would like to arrange a baptism, please come along to a Sunday 9.30 am Mass and have a word with Fr David at the end.
The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Anointing of the sick are available at St Andrew’s. Please email Fr David or telephone him on 01254 399756 for further details.
Each year we prepare adults and children from Year 6 or upward for Confirmation. Details of the preparation will be published in due course, but if you are considering Confirmation as the next step in your Christian journey, please speak to Fr David at any time.
