Many people came to enjoy the first ever Christmas Tree Festival that All Saints’ had put on. There was a selection of trees ranging from memorial to those using recycled materials, It really was a magnificent display of trees and the Fund Raising Committee thanked all who displayed as a lot of effort had been put in.
The festival was community led with free entry and not done for money but the committee were pleased to announce that donations amounted to £156 were kindly received. Light refreshments were available including mulled apple juice and mince pies.
It is hoped to grow this event next year so families can enjoy a piece of Christmas in the leed up to the actual day.
