In church drop in for reflection prayers and meditation.
This year the music and silent prayer or meditation will centre on Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem written in the late
1880s. The composition focuses on eternal rest and consolation and the music is both uplifting and comforting.
A section of the work will be played every quarter hour followed by a period of silent meditation. You will also be given a question connected with Good Friday that you may wish to consider.
Do not feel you have to stay for the whole three hours. You can come for as long or a short a time as you wish to reflect on this important day in the Christian calendar before the wonderful celebration of Easter.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Tolland is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
