Autumn Concert with Gregory Steward

Gregory, 24, graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a First Class Honours Degree in Music, having studied voice with Tim Richards.
Prior to commencing his studies, he was a joint specialist vocal and trumpet scholar at Wells Cathedral School.
He was the winner of the Taunton Young Singer Competition and a semi-finalist in the prestigious Somerset Song Prize, a National Competition for singers up to the age of 25.
He was also a semi finalist in the Two Moors Young Musician competition.
After successfully auditioning for the BBC National Chorus of Wales he has performed Britten’s War Requiem and Handel’s Messiah, both at St David’s Hall.
More recently he performed with the Exeter Festival Chorus as the Evangelist in The Christmas Story by Schutz and  the same role in Stainer’s Crucifixion at Taunton Minster.
Since graduating he has been enjoying performing concerts in towns and villages in the South West as he embarks on his solo career.
