Holy Trinity

Welcome to Holy Trinity Church, a beautiful listed building, accessible and welcoming for all. Our village has had a church for a century before 1159. The tower was built in 1438/9 ( The year Edward III was crowned). The building had reconstruction and an extension in 1874 but no major work done on the tower. Holy Trinity is open to visitors everyday in daylight hours.

This Benefice takes the well being and safety of the children and vulnerable adults that attend our church very seriously. If you wish to raise a Safeguarding concern, please contact Jill Taylor our Safeguarding Officer on 01823 432925 or Lynn Lake our Benefice Safeguarding Officer on 01823 400305 or by email at: [email protected]. Alternatively you can contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Team on 01749 685135 and find more information on their website: https://www.bathandwells.org.uk/diocese/safeguarding/

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Ash Priors is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer. Our Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our Safeguarding Officer. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Safeguarding Officer Amanda Mather or the Benefice Safeguarding Officer on 01823 400305, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Manager Ben Goodhind on 01749 588917. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
