Today is International Organ Day and we will be open for local organists to try the mettle of our noble instrument - a well kept first generation Father Willis triple manual which roars and murmurs beautifully! At present our programme will start at 1100 but we hope to entice as much local talent as possible; please contact Mike French the church warden if you would like to join us!

St John the Evangelist

A warm welcome to all from the congregation at St John's. We are an Inclusive Church and invite everyone to share in our worship.

The parish of St John the Evangelist, Taunton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs, who can be reached through the Benefice Office. The Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
