Christmas Fair A huge ‘thank you’ to all who helped make yesterday’s Fair such a success. A lot of work was needed, and started, literally, months ago. Our sincere gratitude to all who helped in any way, and those who supported it. Weekday Services Services are being held in the Vestry which is warmer. Services in the church will be on Saturdays at 6pm and the three Sunday services. The evening service will be 4.00pm. Outlook December’s magazine is available online. Saturday 16 December 7-45pm St George’s RC Church Billett Street. Tickets £10 on the door. Compline During Advent, there will be Compline on Wednesdays (6, 13, 20 Dec) at 8pm in the Vestry. NOTICES Christmas Fair is next Saturday! You can help in many ways … pick a straw would be grateful for small items and cakes /savouries would be welcome as would bottles (they don't need to be alcoholic) for the bottle stall. Please display posters or distribute flyers in the vicinity. Help is needed to set up on the day from 9.00 am and to pack away afterwards. The Parochial Church Council meets this week on Wednesday (22nd) in the Vestry following mass there at 7.00pm. Please remember members in your prayers. Cardboard Tubes The Good Shepherd are staging an ‘Angel Day’ this Saturday. If you have any loo or kitchen roll tubes, please could you bring them to HT. They’ll be used in the mass production of angels! And do come along – 10-1 in the church.
