Bishop Peter We’re deeply saddened to hear that Bishop Peter is currently being treated for acute myeloid leukaemia. Please continue to pray for him and his family as he undergoes chemotherapy.Face Masks It is now compulsory to wear face masks in church. They may be hot, uncomfortable and cause your glasses to steam up, but we have no choice! These need to be worn at all times, and only removed immediately before receiving Holy Communion. Please unhook (if you're elasticated!) one side by the strap, avoiding contact with the mask itself, and gel your hands after replacing as you return to your pew. Handmade Fabric Masks Are now available for £5 after the service. Proceeds will go to St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice. Choir Link We are very grateful to the anonymous donors who have so kindly and generously paid for repair work to the choir link. It is much appreciated and looks a lot better.Sharing Together Hold the date! The next Zoom discussion group meeting will be on Thursday 27 August at 2.00pm. Joining details are available - please let Fr Julian know and he'll send them on.Sunday Coffee This week’s Zoom coffee chat will be at 11.30pm. Joining details have been sent.September’s issue of Outlook will be emailed on Friday. If you’re not on the email system and would like to receive a copy via email please let David Watkins have your email address. Please contact him through the Parish Office. Thank you.

Music It is brilliant news that our Parish Mass will now be enriched by music and more ceremonial. Simon Gaunt, our organist, is going to act as cantor, singing ‘The Mass of St Mary at the Cross’, by Brother Christopher SSF, as well as voluntaries before and after the service. Please resist the temptation to hum/sing along!Face Masks Although not mandatory, the Church strongly advises that face coverings should be word when attending public worship, to protect others as well as oneself. Because he is further distanced, and the masks muffles his voice, Fr Julian will not wear one at 10am until the administration of Holy Communion, when he comes closest to people.Sunday Coffee This week’s Zoom coffee chat will be at 11.30pm. Joining details have been sent.Email Address It has not been possible, despite many concerted efforts, to transfer the church’s email address to our new systems. The new address is now: holytrinity01@outlook.com. Assistant Areal Dean Fr Julian has been asked to take this role on, and having agreed, will be licensed tomorrow by the Archdeacon of Taunton via Zoom.
