<div>Covid Restrictions The PCC will be</div><div>considering the relaxation of restrictions and</div><div>how they affect us here at their meeting this</div><div>week. Recognising that there is a lot of</div><div>concern about Covid with rising infections and deaths,</div><div>there will be NO immediate change to our precautions,</div><div>but these will be phased in over the next six weeks or so,</div><div>and in line with C of E advice. Caution is the watchword!</div><div>Flowers today have very kindly been</div><div>donated by Anne and Peter Kearle to</div><div>commemorate his late parents’ wedding</div><div>anniversary. Last week’s were the very kind</div><div>gift of Aart Dourleyn.</div><div>Outlook Any copy for the August edition to</div><div>George Coles by Wednesday this week,</div><div>please. It is always far better to have homeproduced</div><div>material than copy ‘off the shelf’!</div><div>The Parochial Church Council will meet on 21</div><div>July, hopefully in the Church Hall, at 7.30pm.</div><div>Members, please note the date (previously</div><div>advised); agendas have been circulated.</div><div>Baptism It is wonderful news that people</div><div>are once again bringing their babies for</div><div>baptism! There will be a baptism today at</div><div>12noon, and next Sunday (when restrictions will be</div><div>partially lifted) at 11.30am.</div><div>Discussion Group Our monthly</div><div>discussion group will meet (safely) in</div><div>the hall this Thursday at 7.30pm, when</div><div>we shall be looking at the controversial and difficult</div><div>subjects of resuscitation, assisted dying, and euthanasia.</div>
<div>Organist Stephen Price has withdrawn his</div><div>resignation as our organist, about which we</div><div>are delighted. Medication has relieved the</div><div>symptoms which were affecting his ability to play. We</div><div>are very pleased for him – and ourselves!</div><div></div>Flowers in church today have very kindly been<div>given by Aart Dourleyn. We are most grateful.</div><div>Please contact Sylvie Paul if you’d like to give</div><div>flowers for the church to mark an occasion.</div><div></div>Outlook Any copy for the August edition to<div>George Coles by 21 July, please. <div>NOTICES</div><div>Church Gardening: Thank you to all who have <span style="font-size: 1rem;">helped in the last few days to tidy the church </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">grounds. Your hard work is much </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">appreciated and has made a great </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">difference.</span></div><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Organ Work is being undertaken to </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">complete the organ restoration. A new </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">‘rank’ of pipes – a particular stop (sound) </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">is being installed on the Swell manual. Hopefully, all will </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">be finished next week. The ‘Wurlitzer’ – the electronic </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">organ - has also been serviced.</span><div>Organist: It was with very great sadness that <span style="font-size: 1rem;">we heard that Stephen Price, our organist is </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">having to resign from his post after just a few</span></div><div>months. Sadly he has recently developed some health <span style="font-size: 1rem;">problems. We are very sorry for him and assure him of </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">our prayers. His last playing Sunday will be July 18.</span></div><span style="font-size: 1rem;">26 Trinity St, the former verger’s house, has </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">now been sold and completion made. The </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">proceeds go the Diocese as Custodian Trustees, although </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">HT has the final decision, as Managing Trustees, as to </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">how these may be spent, in accordance with the terms of </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">the Trust. It has taken a lot of hard work to get to this </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">point, and our grateful thanks go to those who worked at </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">this end and also at the Diocesan end.</span><div>Outlook: The Parish Magazine for July has <span style="font-size: 1rem;">been circulated to those on our email list; if </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">you would like one and not on our email list, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">please contact the parish office </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">(holytrinity02@btconnect.com). <div>This week’s notice sheet has had to be <span style="font-size: 1rem;">prepared a week in advance. We have no </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">administrator at present, and so it is produced </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">by Fr Julian who was obviously away last week </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">at Walsingham. So if some information is not included, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">that’s why!</span></div><div></div>Church Gardening Wendy Burge is very <span style="font-size: 1rem;">kindly co-ordinating the tidying-up and </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">maintenance of the church grounds, with a </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">regular session on the first Saturday of the </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">month, 2-4pm. Next Saturday will be the first, so please </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">come along and help! The grounds are the ‘shop-front’ </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">of the church, so if they don’t look cared for, then… </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Thank you, Michael Paul, who has made a back-breaking </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">start to weeding the paving at the entrance.</span><div>Lockdown: Following the Government’s <span style="font-size: 1rem;">announcement, we will effectively be under </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">the same restrictions as before, with the </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">exception of any weddings in churches. The Bishop of </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">London, the ‘Recovery Group’s’ chair is working hard to </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">have reconsideration of choral/congregational singing, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">but at the moment it’s business as usual.</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1rem;"></span></div><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Organist It was with very great sadness that </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">we heard that Stephen Price, our organist is </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">having to resign from his post after just a few </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">months.
