Discussion Group We will meet this Thursday at 7.30pm at the Vicarage. This month’s topic will be our favourite hymns. Please choose two, and be prepared to talk about them, and also let Fr Julian know by Tuesday what they are, so he can mug up on them! Advent Sunday is next Sunday, the start of the Church’s year, when we focus on the coming of the Kingdom. There will be resources for us on the website, and Compline will be said from Tuesday 30th at 8.30pm in the Vestry. Winter Services From Tuesday 30, weekday services will be held in the vestry which will be warmer!
Funerals Joyce Nicholas-Williams sadly died and her funeral is tomorrow here at Holy Trinity at 10.00am. The funeral for Batenga Nassolo, who tragically died recently, will be this coming Thursday (18th) at 2.00pm. Please do all you can to remember these two ladies and attend their funerals. Remembrance Sunday The traditional act of remembrance will be observed at 11.00am. Our grateful thanks to Trudi Watkins for her Cenotaph display and other remembrance displays. The Parochial Church Council (PCC) will meet this coming Wednesday (17th) in the church hall, following Mass in church at 7.00pm. Agendas will be circulated beforehand. NOTICES All Souls’ Day is on November 2nd, and as usual, there will be a Sung Requiem Mass at 7.30pm.
