Bells Thank you, Margaret Jordan and John Godley for the display of photos of the church bells. They have been taken to Loughborough, where the process of cleaning and repairing them has already started. Fr Julian will be at a residential conference at the Royal Foundation of St Katherine in London this week (31 May – 1 June) and so will be unavailable. We welcome John Eyles again as our organist this morning and very grateful to him for standing in once again. Sadly, Simon is not well at present; we wish him a full and speedy recovery. Church Grounds Many thanks all of you who helped tidy the church grounds yesterday. Hard work, but worth it! New Prebendaries One of the three new prebendaries of Wells Cathedral recently appointed is Fr Robin Lodge, the Vicar of St Andrew’s here in Taunton, and a good friend to Holy Trinity. We congratulate him and hold him in prayers. He will be installed on Tuesday 7 June at 5.15pm during Cathedral evensong. Outlook - Outlook April's copy of the Parish Magazine is now available online (holytrinitytaunton.org). There are a few hard copies available for those who are unable to access it electronically.

Sharing Together This month's discussion group will meet this Wednesday (25th) in the Vestry at 7.30pm. We'll be re-visiting Walsingham! Ascension Day As usual, we will be celebrating this important day with a Sung Mass at 7.30pm this Thursday (26 May). Walsingham Festival at Exeter Cathedral This year sees the centenary of the re[1]founding of the Anglian Shrine at Walsingham. To celebrate this, there will be a number regional festivals, the nearest being Exeter this Saturday 21 May, starting at 11.30am. Bells All 6 bells have now been removed and taken to Loughborough for restoration, and will reinstalled in due course in a new bell frame. PCC The new council has its inaugural meeting in the hall this Wednesday following mass in church. Please pray for you church councillors, particularly those elected recently. NOTICES New Bishop of Bath and Wells It was announced by Downing St that the next Bishop of Bath and Wells will be the Rt Revd Michael Beasley. Bishop Beasley is presently Bishop of Hertford in the St Albans diocese, and will be joining us in the early autumn. Organist We welcome Simon Gaunt to play again for us this morning. He will be filling in on several Sundays before taking on the role of Director of Music from July 1st.
