NOTICES Dear FriendsI hope that as many of you as possible are coming to the Good Shepherd this Sunday, for our combined Sunday mass. It will be a great pleasure to welcome the Bishop of Oswestry for the first time to our parishes, and we shall also be joined by the Archdeacon of Wells who will formally license me as Interim Minister. For those who have indicated their attendance, a buffet lunch will be available afterwards. Don’t forget the service is at a different time for both parishes – 10.30am.There are road works around the church, but I believe you can still get into the road from the town centre side, and parking is in Holy Rood school opposite the church. I hope to see you there!+ Paul will be staying overnight at the Vicarage. He is coming down on Saturday rather than Sunday morning, so he can confirm Alys Williams, who has joined us since Covid, and who came to know of us through the streamed services. It will be lovely for her to be confirmed simply, as is her wish, in her church. We pray for her she begins a new part of her Christian journeyThe Parish Magazine is included with this mailing; please do read it. Within it are several dates for your diaries: the Summer Fair on June 3rd, the visit of the Bishop of Bath & Wells to rededicate the bells. Sadly, there was not enough support for a Coronation Tea, so that has been cancelled, but we will give thanks for the coronation of His Majesty Charles III Evening Prayer on Sunday 7th.
