Welcome, members of the Good Shepherd church! It is really good to have you with us, and we look forward to getting to know you, as we begin our shared ministry together.

All Souls’ Day There will be a Sung Mass of Requiem this Wednesday at 7.30pm. Cards are available for you to write the names of loved ones to be remembered in the course of the service. If you really are unable to come, please leave your cards, and they will be presented for you.

Weekday Services will be held in the Vestry from now on to help keep us warm. Also Sunday Evening Prayer and Benediction will be at 4.00pm from next week because of the dark evenings.

Advent/Christmas Fair Please place any hamper items you have kindly purchased for the Christmas Draw in the gold box by 13 November. Please take a poster to display. Draw tickets are still available for sale please return money/unsold tickets to Liz Hathway by 20 November. Please see Wendy if you can help.

Outlook November’s parish magazine is now available online with a few hard copies available for those unable to access it electronically. Many thanks to those who have kindly contributed copy. Keep up the good work!

Please could £5.00 deposit and menu choices be passed to Wendy by 6th November? Thank you.

Bishop Michael will formally be installed as Bishop of Bath and Wells on Saturday 12th November. He already officially our diocesan bishop, but the service at Wells (ticket only, but online as well) sees him installed in the Bishop’s Throne (kathedra – where ‘cathedral’ comes from).

Pre-loved Toy Sale This Friday 4 November 3 - 4pm & Saturday 5th November 2 - 4pm. Help needed please to get toys out of the crypt on Friday morning to clean, make sure they work and are saleable. Also help needed at the sales and distributing flyers a couple of days before. Please see Wendy if you can help.
