Good Shepherd, Furnham Fr Julian will begin having informal oversight of this parish from Oct 1st, for an initial trial period of three months. Please pray for the two parishes and for Fr Julian.

Organ Now that work on the bells has been completed, all that remains is for the main organ to reinstated. Work will begin on this in 2 weeks’ time.

Leave Fr Julian will be on annual leave shortly. It has been very difficult to find cover for the services, due to shortage of clergy, illness and unavailability. As a result, between the 13 and 27 September, the ONLY services will be on Friday 16th September at 12.30pm and The Parish Mass on Sunday 18th and Sunday 25th. We will welcome Fr Munna Mitra as the celebrant on Friday and Fr Mark Smith as the celebrant and preacher at the Parish Mass

Sharing Together September’s discussion group will be held a week later than usual on Thursday 29 September, 7.30pm at the Vicarage, when we shall be looking at angels and archangels. You don’t need to be one to attend!

Big Coffee Morning Macmillan Cancer Support. The coffee morning is to be held on 24th September, 10am to 12 noon, in the church hall. There will be cakes, savories, coffee and tea along with a raffle, and crafts and fancy goods for sale.

Harvest Supper Tickets are now available for the Harvest Supper on Saturday 1st October at 7.00pm in the church hall. Please buy yours after services – only £6!

200 Club This month’s draw will take place in the hall after Parish Mass, with three good cash prizes! Please see Richard Tomlinson if you wish to join or renew your membership.

Flowers This week flowers have been donated by Cheryl Grindle in memory of John Dearson and Graham Griffiths Anniversary.

Pantomime. Please sign the list at the back of Church if you would like to go to the Pantomime on Wednesday 11 January 2023.

Traidcraft cards are on sale today in the hall and every 2nd Sunday in the month until Christmas.

Advent/Christmas Fair Draw tickets are available today from Liz Hathway. There is a list at the back of Church for hamper gifts, please sign if you are able to donate a prize. Please put any donations in the gold box at the back of Church from 18 September for donations.
