Peter Deal, RIP Peter’s funeral will be on Tuesday 28 January, 11.00am, at Holy Trinity. Please do make every effort to attend.

Walsingham Pilgrimage – This year’s annual pilgrimage to Walsingham will be from 16th to 20th June. If you would like to know more about it or to book please see Jane Laurence or email: [email protected] . To secure a place please let Jane have your £40 (non-refundable) deposit before the end of February.

Outlook any contributions for February’s parish magazine to be given to Jane Laurence by this Wednesday 22nd Wednesday 22 January please.

Midweek Services With winter temperatures with us, all midweek services will be in the Vestry.

Annual Leave Fr Julian is most grateful to Fr James and Bishop Michael for covering services in his absence last week.

Organist We were most grateful to John Eyles for stepping up last Sunday, and welcome, once more, Geoff Greenhough from Chard this morning. We hope Simon will be able to resume duties from next week.

Sharing Together This month’s discussion group will take place at the Vicarage at 7.30pm next Thursday (23rd ).

Beauty & The Beast Pantomime – thank you Wendy for organising last Thursday’s outing to see Beauty and the Beast. It was a most enjoyable evening. Oh yes it was!

Wire Coat Hangers - if you have any of the old wire coat hangers I'd be very grateful to have them, I'm happy to swap for plastic ones. Many thanks Wendy.

tub2pub - Green King pubs run a marvellous scheme collecting plastic sweet tubs (Roses/Quality Street etc) for recycling - the tubs are not acceptable in normal kerbside plastic waste. Last year they collected 150,000 tubs raising £12,600.00 for Macmillan Cancer care. Please pass any tubs to Wendy by Sunday 9 February.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity – This annual week of prayer began, as usual, on 19th (yesterday) and concludes on the 25th. Today’s evening services will reflect this theme.

Food Bank – many thanks to all those that contribute but following further thefts this week, may we please request that food is NOT placed at the back of Church. The food bank is always in need of toilet rolls, washing up liquid, shampoo and conditioner. Very many thanks.
