Denis Ridgway RIP We were sorry to hear of Denis’ death in the early hours of Monday 10th. His funeral will be at the crematorium this Thursday 27 July at 2pm. Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences go to Sheila, his widow, their daughters and families.

Next Sunday we shall be joined by the congregation of the Good Shepherd for our usual 5th Sunday joint act of worship. Don’t forget to come along and welcome our new friends!

Cream Teas Tickets are still available for the sumptuous cream tea on 6 august, organised by the Good Shepherd. Liz Hathway has both tickets and details!

BBQ Book the date for the annual parish BBQ in the church grounds on Saturday 19 August at 7.00pm. Tickets are now available at only £7.

Parish Magazine August’s copy of Outlook will be available online at the end of this week. As usual, there will be a few copies for those unable to access it this way.

Website We are most grateful to Jane Laurence who has spent a very great deal of time creating a new website for the parish. It is now full up and running, and is a considerable improvement on our last, which was showing signs of age.

Sunday Raffle A new list will be available at the back of church to donate a prize for the raffle. From April 2nd to date £376 has been raised for church funds. A big thank you to all who support and donate prizes. Liz Hathway.
