The main boiler is not working properly and sometimes fails to come on. The engineers have been called three times (£100 each time) and the electric overhead heaters are used if necessary. However, last quarter the electricity bill was £700. If you would like to borrow a blanket to keep you warmer, some are available at the back of church. Wire Coat Hangers - if you have any of the old wire coat hangers I'd be very grateful to have them, I'm happy to swap for plastic ones. Week of Prayer for Christian Unity – This annual week of prayer began, as usual, on 19th (yesterday) and concludes on the 25th. Today’s evening services will reflect this theme.
