About Us

St Peter’s is a moderate sized church with a welcoming congregation whose numbers are steadily growing by reaching out to the community with a wide range of services. 

It was originally built to serve a large post war development to the North East of Taunton known as ‘Lyngford’ to parishioners and ‘Priorswood’ to most other locals.

We have one main Sunday service at 10am which is a mixture of traditional and modern!

We believe our purpose is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. 

We have mid-week events such as Community Groups, Brownies, Rainbows, Guides, and Lunch Club.

We offer Home Communions for those who aren't able to leave the house.
