We are very fortunate to have an active community within Winsham, specifically John Sullivan, who has for several years now sent a weekly new 'e-letter' and maintains the website for Winsham parish. There is considerable coverage of St Stephens both past and present.THE PRESENT: http://www.winsham.org.uk/church/New%20Intro%20Page082015.html(Includes service schedule, and more information on the church itself)THE PAST: http://www.winshamwebmuseum.co.uk/Site%20Map/Map%20Winsham%20at%20Worship.html(Winsham Web Museum was the first parish online museum in the UK, and is now archived by the British Museum for posterity)
Every two months, the Two Shires Benefice, of which St Stephen's in Winsham is a part, issues a newsletter with all the service times, so thoughts and reflections, and notices. It is available for FREE in Winsham Community Shop (Church Street), and within St Stephen's itself. Further afield, the newsletter can also be found in the other churches within the benefice. These are St John the Evangelist (Tatworth), St Michael & All Angels (Chaffcombe), St Mary Magdalene (Cricket Malherbie), and The Blessed Virgin Mary (Thorncombe).
Please join us for a Service of Nine Lessons and Carols, this Sunday 16th starting at 6:30pm. This is a very popular - and candlelit event with mince pies and mulled wine - so arrive early to grab a seat!
