Welcome to St Mary Magdalene Church, Cricket Malherbie!
We are the Church of England Parish Church for Cricket Malherbie and Knowle St Giles.
St Mary Magdalene’s is a Festival Church, which means that whilst the church is not used for regular worship, we hold a number of special services in the church each year. For example we will worship here for Christmas, Easter, Harvest, Mothering Sunday and other times as advertised.
This church is one of a family of churches that make up the Two Shires Benefice. You can find further details on the other churches by using the tabs on this page.

Here at the Two Shires Benefice, we are an inclusive church family of Five churches. Therefore, we run events across all of the parishes, that one and all are invited to.
For Children:
On a Friday we run a toddler group for all preschoolers of any age, for all types of care givers to join. We play, laugh, craft, snack, sing and read together or not some of our children simply enjoy being with other children. This is held at St John rooms (Tatworth) between 10-11:30 am. There is a small car park and a secure garden for the children to play in. This toddler group runs every Friday term time. For more information please email: [email protected]

The Blessed Virgin Mary, Thorncombe
Welcome to St Mary's Thorncombe! All are welcome at this beautiful church.
The Anglican parish church for the parish of Thorncombe, Dorset, we are also part of the family of churches known as the Two Shires Benefice; which includes Thorncombe, Winsham, Tatworth with Forton, Chaffcombe and Cricket Malherbie.
