Please join us for a special Service for Mothering Sunday, including blessing of posies. This is a short service of praise and thanksgiving, suitable for all ages, with no Holy Communion. If you are a mum and unable to attend, we want to include you in the distribution of posies. Please get in touch through your usual church contact or use the Get in Touch button on our website. A service of Holy Communion is offered at our sister church, St Mary's, Main Road, Westonzoyland at 10.30 am

A Service for all ages.

The second of our popular Lent Lunches of 2025 at Chedzoy Village Hall takes place on a Saturday by popular demand. A two course lunch of home made soup, served with crusty bread, followed by cheese and biscuits. £5.00 per person. Card payment accepted. A celebration of Holy Communion.

On Palm Sunday Jesus arrived in Jerusalem to crowds and cheers. His triumphant entry into Jerusalem has been celebrated on the Sunday before Easter since the first centuries of Christianity.

The crowds waved palm branches and covered his path with them. We remember this with crosses made from palm leaves, blessed and given to each member of the congregation to take with them. Traditionally, these are burned on Ash Wednesday of the following year.

Our Good Friday services will follow the traditional pattern of a 10.30 am service at our sister church in Westonzoyland to remember that Jesus carried his cross through the streets of Jerusalem. Then, in the afternoon, Good Friday reflection continues with a service at Chedzoy at 2.30 pm. You are welcome to come to both or just one of these services. Refreshments will be available at Chedzoy after the service.

A Worship Service for all ages.

An Easter Communion service to mark Christ's resurrection on the first Easter morning. Simnel cake and coffee will be served after the service.

Under the Church Representation Rules PCCs must hold an Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM). At the APCM the annual report and financial statements for the previous year are presented and officers are appointed for the current year. You are invited to come, receive the report, and hear how Chedzoy PCC has been working in the past year. Your support is very welcome.
