The cracked wall above the beautiful stained glass Easter Window must be repaired urgently to stop further damage to St Mary's South Transept. This area of the church houses the Lady Altar and Children's Area.
The window depicts the empty tomb - an angel tells the women that Jesus is no longer in the tomb following his resurrection on Easter morning.
By making a donation you can help to save the window for future generations to enjoy. You will also be contributing to the development of the church by improving the established Children's Area - currently looking a little run down due to the damp and crumbling plaster. The planned re-plastering and repainting will significantly improve this part of the building.
The work is expected to cost in the region of £10,000. Some of this has already been raised and grant funding is being sought. Please make a donation by downloading the QR code or head to St Mary's Chedzoy South Transept Repair Appeal - Give A Little
