We are a traditional, rural village Church located in the heart of the Somerset Levels. Church life is well supported by an active team of volunteers and services are held every Sunday.

The earliest mention of a church in Chedzoy was in 1166, but it was probably founded many years prior to this. It is a Grade 1 listed building with some fine bench ends, a carved wooden pulpit, a medieval font, stained glass windows and many other interesting features. The church is located in the heart of the Somerset Levels, a wetland area of natural beauty and wildlife.

We are part of the Westonzoyland with Chedzoy Benefice and offer regular services and events for the local community and visitors. The church is open daily for prayer and reflection and we welcome anyone who wishes to explore the Christian faith or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this ancient building.
