Our Benefice comes together to remember Jesus meeting in the upper room with his disciples to celebrate passover. We meet at 6.00pm to share a simple Agape meal with pitta bread, and lamb. This will be followed at 7.00 pm by a special service of Holy Communion terminating in the stripping of the altar, and we leave in silence as we remember the betrayal of Jesus.

Christ Church

Sunday 26th April , the fourth Sunday after Easter, we are privileged to have the choir of Wells Cathedral  joining us for a Choral Evensong at St George, 15:00 hours. The service will be followed by tea and cakes  as we  host the choir before they depart to another function. Do please support this service and enjoy the wonderful music brought to us.


Our Readings are:

ACTS  Chapter2 Verses 42-47  The Believers share their resources

and John  chapter 10, verses 1-10  Jesus  the good Shepherd

Lord, you are our Shepherd and we pray that you will protect us from all danger by keeping watch over us, guide us towards green pastures where we can be nourished by your word and lead us to pure still waters where we can be refreshed by your love.
