The  Second Sunday in Lent continues the penitential season, and we read about Jesus turning his eyes towards Jerusalem.

Our service is Holy Communion is at 10-30 am.  and  this is followed by light refreshments as we continue our fellowship and catch up on the news of our friends and neighbours.

For those unable to come to this service, Astrid has prepared a sermon which is available on You Tube at

The link becomes live for you to watch on Sunday morning and a copy of her sermon can be downloaded from our news page

Our Readings this week are:;

Philippians Chapter3 verses 17-21 Imitating Christ

Luke Chapter 13 verses 31-35  Jesus laments Jerusalem„

Loving God,
there is so much darkness in our lives
and we hide from you.
Take our hands
and lead us out of the shadows of our fear.
Help us to change our  hearts.
Bring us to your truth
and help us to respond to your generous love.
Let us recognize the fullness of your love
which will fill our lives.
Free us  rom the darkness in our hearts.

Amen
