Churches Together bring a public witness and service to our villages. The walk starts at 10.30 am from St George Church going through the village, and featuring several stops for Bible readings, hymns, prayers and meditations and ending at 12.00 noon at Pill Precinct, for a short service in the open air. We finish with the distribution of hot cross buns and Easter eggs for childrenm

Christ Church

Sunday 28th  June is the fourth Sunday after Trinity, and Christ Church welcomes you to a service of Morning Praise in the Iona Tradition at  10.30 am.  Our service will be followed by light refreshments in the Church Room, as we exchange news and share our experiences, so  do come and join us 

Our Readings are:

Romans  Chapter 6 Verses 12-23 Slaves of Righteousness

and 

Matthew  Chapter 10, verses  40-42  Rewards

O God, the protector of all that trust in thee, without whom nothing is strong, nothing is holy: Increase and multiply upon us thy mercy; that, thou being our ruler and guide, we may so pass through things temporal, that we finally lose not the things eternal: Grant this, O heavenly Father, for Jesus Christ's sake our Lord.
