View family of churches homepageWe've come a long way since the first Vicar was appointed in 1191! Here at St Andrew's you'll find a warm welcome in this former 'Minster' Church, with modern facilities and a variety of worship options throughout the month. The church is often used for concerts, exhibitions, by our local schools and for other public events, so we are very much at the heart of our community.
Dundry's spectacular tower is a famous landmark from Bristol and for miles around! You can enjoy the amazing views it offers on one of our open tower afternoons in the summer months. St Michael's also offers some lovely stained glass inside and a compelling atmosphere where people have been coming to worship for over 500 years. 2018 saw the completion of renovation and re-ordering work to the church which now includes a kitchen area, level access into the church and a toilet.
NOW OPEN FOR PRAYER AND QUIET TIME
Holy Trinity, Norton Malreward, a beautiful little rural church with a spectacular Norman Chancel Arch, has been brought into the 21st century with the creation of modern concealed facilities, instant running hot water and the gathered-round font.
With a first rate Audio Visual system, services are both ancient and modern, seasonal and topical. You can relax and worship here and be comfortable and refreshed.
While St Mary's is a bit of a hidden gem, it is well visited by walkers and those coming to see the local 'Stone Circle'. Recent reordering has given the church modern facilities and now enables us to host concerts and a monthly Community Cafe for the village. St Mary's has therefore become a vibrant centre for the community to come together, and given the church a new lease of life! A newly formed Bell Ringing Group has brought the tower alive and now rings the bells regularly. We have three services here a month and you'll be made very welcome whether visitor or regular.
