St Swithun's

Everyone is warmly welcome to attend our services. Our worship has a variety of styles and service content within the month. The services we offer throughout the month:

1st Sunday:   10am.  Holy Communion, with a traditional feel.  5.30pm.  Re:Connect especially for year 7 pupils

2nd Sunday:  10am.  Contemporary Service, often with speaker.  4pm.  Afternoon Praise, especially for 4-11 yr olds

3rd Sunday:  10am.  Holy Communion, with a contemporary feel

4th Sunday:  10am.  Welcome Church, often with discussion.  4.30pm.  Evening Prayer, with a traditional feel

5th Sunday:  10am.  Joint Holy Communion Service, alternating with St John's Church, Batheaston

Traditional Holy Communion involves hymns, while our less formal services involve worship songs or a combination of the two. Our music is a combination of live worship (usually singer and keyboard) and recorded music.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Bathford is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bath & Wells’ safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Zoe Hill, 01225 920050, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Ben Goodhind, [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
