St Michael's Without

Welcome to the page for St. Michael's Without, in the centre of Bath.  We are a busy and active church, open 7 days a week, with a parish that is a diverse mix of residential and business.

Originally located just outside the city walls of Medieval Bath, we retain our sense of being a sanctuary for those on the edge, or who are just passing through.  You will always find a warm welcome, whether you pop in for a coffee in our cafe, drop in to one of our services or just need somewhere to sit quietly.

Come and say hi!

Safeguarding

Our parish of Bath St. Michael Without is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Jane Pleace by emailing [email protected], or by leaving a confidential message with the Church Office on 01225 447103. Alternatively, you can contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor - see the link below. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
