We're gathering together as a benefice this Sunday, so that we can enjoy joint fellowship in one church building. We'll be discussing making 'everyone welcome' and we very much hope that you'll join us for that.

There'll be Holy Communion together with hymns sung to organ music, and activities for children to enjoy during the service too.

St Matthew's Church is a beautiful church in the village of Wookey, near Wells. We are part of a group of 3 churches and 4 parishes, known as a benefice, which are looked after by Revd Jan Shellard-James.

There are services almost every Sunday, except during some months on the third Sunday of the month. Also if there is a 5th Sunday in a month, a service might take place at a different church in the benefice. There is also a weekly Holy Communion service which is held every Wednesday.
