The Bible can seem like a confusing assortment of events, poems and wise words. The Bible Course explains how the parts of the Bible come together to reveal an eternal God who keeps his promises.

Over 8 sessions we will journey through the sections and events of the Bible, and introduce key characters. Each session of The Bible Course uses video and discussions, but no prior knowledge is required and a course book is available. Join us for a short Holy Communion service without singing. Everyone is welcome to attend even if you don't live in the village. This is a great service to come to if you find it difficult to attend Sunday services or if you want to celebrate Holy Communion during the week.

Come along and try bellringing! The bellringers practice every Wednesday, and new people are always welcome! Many people in Wookey greatly enjoy hearing the bells ringing out on Wednesday evenings. Please be aware that there is a spiral staircase to climb to reach the bell chamber. A group for babies, toddlers, pre-school children and their parents/guardians/carers to attend, where children can enjoy playing together with a story, songs and refreshments. It's also a great place to meet other adults caring for little ones of a similar age. This group runs term time only.

Join us for Holy Communion in a spoken service without singing, but with prayers, Bible readings and a short sermon. This is a calming small service.

Join us for meditation/ silent prayer, which is a universal spiritual tradition. Meditation takes us to the depths of our being, to our true self and to the pure experience of God in the ground of our being. Afterwards stay for coffee and tea and a chance for a chat.
