Wells Catherdal School Jazz Orchestra are going to be playing in Henton! Arrive at 7pm for 7:30pm. The band will be presenting a new programme with some familiar classic big band repertoire by Count Basie and Ella Fitzgerald alongside some more modern pieces by Bob Mintzer, Maynard Ferguson and Les Hooper. Tickets are £10 per adult and £5 for children, and should be paid for on the night with cash. Welcome to our page on A Church Near You! 

Christ Church Henton is a beautiful church in the village of Henton, near Wells. We are part of a group of 3 churches and 4 parishes, known as a benefice, which are looked after by Revd Jan Shellard-James.

There are services every Sunday, however if there is a 5th Sunday in a month, a service might take place at a different church in the benefice. There is also a weekly prayer meeting which is held every Monday. On the 1st Sunday of the month is a relaxed service over breakfast at Henton Village Hall, which is free, and very much enjoyed. You are very welcome to come to any of our services or events, and details of these can be found on this website, or on our own website www.chwchurches.co.uk There are also more details about the this church and the benefice on our website.
