The new joint benefice of Fosse Trinity (Ditcheat with Alhampton, East Pennard and Pylle), and Pilton with Croscombe and North Wootton are looking for a new Priest-in-Charge.  We are 7 newly joined-up villages and churches based in the beautiful mid-Somerset countryside, near Shepton Mallet.  Please have a look at the attached Benefice Profile and see how much we have to offer you, as well as the kind of person we are looking for.  If that is you please apply to the Archdeacon's PA.  We very much hope you will consider us in your prayers, and we look forward to meeting you to discuss the possibilities.

As from January 2025, the Fosse Trinity benefice has joined up with the benefice of Pilton, Croscombe and North Wootton.  We now hold joint services on the first Sunday of every month, rotating around the parishes.  The first such service was on 5 January at St John the Baptist, Pilton, when the president and preacher was the Archdeacon of Wells, the Venerable Anne Gell. Since then, we have been rotating around the two benefices, with every parish hosting a joint service during the year at 10.30 a.m.  The July service on 6 July will be at Pilton (with our Area Dean, Revd Sam Denyer, presiding and preaching).  The August one will be at the Mission Chapel at Alhampton.  All are welcome!
