St Mary Magdalene

From January 2025, the Fosse Trinity benefice is joining up with the benefice of Pilton, Croscombe and North Wootton and will be holding joint services on the first Sunday of every month, rotating around the parishes. The first such service was on 5 January at St John the Baptist, Pilton. The president and preacher was the Archdeacon of Wells, the Venerable Anne Gell. Thereafter, we shall rotate around the two benefices, with every parish hosting a joint service during the year. The next one will be on 2 February at Ditcheat at 10.30 a.m., to celebrate the great feast of Candlemas (known by the Church as the Presentation of Christ in the Temple). All are welcome!
