Chris Varley, who lives in the area, has been studying to become a Reader in the Coker Ridge Benefice. He was admitted as a new Reader by the Bishop of Bath & Wells at a Cathedral service in Wells on 5th October. Supported by the Rector, Phil,  together with representatives from the local churches, Chris was presented with a Bible and authorised to officiate at church services. We wish every blessing to Chris in his new work in the churches.
