St Mary's, East Chinnock

Welcome to St Mary's, East Chinnock, with its remarkable stained glass windows, donated by a former German prisoner of war, as a a mark of peace and reconciliation.

Everyone is very welcome to join the village community in its church services.

We're part of a group of seven rural anglican churches, called the Coker Ridge Benefice. More details about these churches are available on 'More Information' tab.

Safeguarding

The parish of East Chinnock is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contains links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO {Mick Collins Tel: 01935 863129} or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor {Ben Goodhind Tel: 01749 588917}.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
