Tellisford village is a conservation area. Within the churchyard we have been following strategies to boost biodiversity since 2020. The visible evidence of this during mowing season is that parts of the churchyard are left to flower, with strategic paths kept mown fortnightly for the public footpath and for access to recent graves. In 2024 we saw an orchid and 110 other flowers, grasses and plants. Comments may be offered in the Visitors' Book or in the Churchyard Logbook (ringbinder).
