Over the last few months, we have taken the difficult decision to update our under pew heaters, which were installed in 1957. They are expensive to run, ineffective and above all pose a health and safety hazard, due to the lack of safety guards. We would like to upgrade the system to one that has been designed specifically for use in churches. This will be of huge benefit as it is much more flexible; it heats the people, rather than the space, and you only heat the parts of the church which are being used. The heaters also need very little time to reach full output, which is a very attractive feature. We are aiming to raise £15,576 by spring 2025!
