Many churches organise a series of 5 or 6 informal weekly discussions groups (not a church service) between Ash Wednesday and Easter. In Crook Peak this is open to all, Christian or not, worshippers in Crook Peak or elsewhere. This would be a great chance to ask any questions you have about the church or Christianity. The content will be tailored to the attendees.
