Children in Church

Every Sunday children of all ages are welcome to join in our worship and to learn more of God's love and the Bible with us. We are very happy to accept a level of noise to make our churches a place where all are welcome.

The first Sunday of each month has an informal Praise and Worship Service at 10am in Weare Church. A box of percussion instruments and flags allow all ages to join in and the Children's Corner contains toys, books and activities that enables you and your child to still be part of the main service.

Activity story bags, books and colouring sheets are available in all our other Churches.

All our Churches have good porches for dry parking of buggies. Buggy space inside the Church is easy in Compton Bishop, Weare and Badgworth, but there is limited space inside in Loxton, Biddisham and Christon.

Weare Churchroom has a toilet and nappy changing facilities (up the path next to the left of the main Church gate) , open during services and events. Compton Bishop and Christon have a permanent portable toilet on site.

Our weekly Sunday Gang was suspended in Crook Peak Parish at the end of December 2013, but children are welcome at all our services. If you are interested in your child attending a Sunday or Midweek christian group, please ring 01934 733281.
