This year we are again offering a FREE Church Holiday Club, which will be taking place in Cheddar Village Hall and the Old Vicarage garden from 9.30am to 12 noon, each day in the week from Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th August 2024.

We will be learning about Joseph's adventures (including his amazing technicolour dream coat) through games, craft activities and storytelling.

Booking forms should be returned by the end of term if you want to secure a place for your child/ren. Some years we are oversubscribed so please only sign up if your child is able to come for the whole four days, not just the odd day.

Weather permitting, we hope to have a barbeque for all the families on Friday. Also, at the end of the Friday morning session, we will share what we have been doing during our time together, hopefully giving you a glimpse of the fun the children have enjoyed at Holiday Club. Do try to keep this date free.

Safeguarding

The parish of Cheddar is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
