About Us
We are an Anglican church in Kensington, with people who make up a real cross-section of West London. Our community is a mix of young and old, singles, students, young families and over 100 children and youth.
There are lots of things that are important to us here: knowing Jesus Christ, making good friends, having fun and the chance to make a difference to others in West London and beyond.
Through the Bible, we believe God speaks to us about our lives and the situations we face; through one another, we believe God pours out his Holy Spirit to bring comfort, healing and transformation.
We enjoy meeting together to worship, pray and support one another in practical ways. Our style and worship is informal and we value the opportunity to pray for God's strengthening and healing in our lives. We believe our mission is to all people, not just those in our church, and to this end we are involved in a variety of community initiatives that serve this part of West London and beyond. We offer the chance to explore Christianity through the Alpha course. We also have a pastoral ministry team available to support anyone who is experiencing problems and would like the chance to chat and pray with someone.
There are different ways of getting involved at St Barnabas: through Sunday services, midweek hubs and a variety of activities and events, including special programmes for children and youth.
