As well as they usual non perishable items, the foodbank have specifically asked for small packs of washing powder, washing up liquid and household cleaning sprays. As always, your donations are gratefully received by those in need in our wider community.Thank you
We were delighted to welcome villagers and church family on Saturday to our coffee morning. The atmosphere was convivial with lots of tasty treats to enjoy over a coffee and a chat. There was also a small team making the christingles to hand out on Sunday at our special service. This year sees the 50th anniversary of 'The Childrens society' a charity which we are proud to support. Please take a look at their website and consider making a donation. If anyone still has a cardboard collection box please drop it off at the church anytime during school hours or on Sunday morning at worship. The coffee morning collection will be combined with teh Sunday morning collection and sent to the childrens society direct. Final figures will be announced soon.
Thank you to everyone who gave very generously in November and December. In December we were remarkably busy and not only distributed the regular Food parcels but also Christmas Hampers and Children's Chocolate bags. Please pass our heart felt thank you to your members, this was really a good community effort to help those in need.
