How lovely for our lovely littel church to play host to the deanery churches for this special celebration to remember the Ascension of the Lord into heaven.
We had over 50 join us for a lively service which included wonderully uplifting music played on violin, guitar and organ, a Eucharist and a memorable sermon delivered by Reader Delia from the Flyford benefice (thank you).
At the end of the service, folk stayed behind to chat over a cup of coffee and chocolate biscuits. A really wonderful opportunity to share in fellowship together. We hope to be able to hold more of such services in the future.
