Getting here

This building was originally built as the school for the village of New Buildings with the intention at the time of building a Chapel of ease. This was never done and the church services were held in the school room and continue through to the present time.
In 1981 the old school was renamed Beacon church as it lies adjacent to beacon field, one of chain of high points where signal beacons were lit.
