Compline (or Night Prayer) is a short, reflective time of prayer, lasting around 20/30 minutes, which is a delightful way to round off the day and reflect on God’s love and care for us.
First Wednesday of each month.
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day a flag will be raised and bells rung at 10:50am. A service for the whole Benefice will be at 11am, followed by a Bring & Share lunch.
A short service offering quiet reflection using the Taizé words and chants.
2nd Friday of each month at 6pm
Retreats held at St Dubricius Church, HR9 6BZ. The main retreat theme for 2025 is Growing Closer to God. No fixed charge but a donation is appreciated. For details you may email [email protected].
The retreats are for individuals or small groups. Numbers are limited so please book by email as early as you can, so that your place can be confirmed. Drinks are provided, but not food, so please bring a packed lunch.
