A Holy Communion service using the Book of Common Prayer (traditional language)

We spend time learning about different ways to pray and hear God's voice, and praying for our church, our community and each other. Please join us afterwards for refreshments.

A simple, Christian meditation for 20 minutes, in the church, followed by breakfast and Bible study.

We meet at the back of the church for tea, coffee, pastries (all free), a chance to socialise and a discussion about a Bible passage. You are very welcome to come to this part of the morning alone, or to join us earlier, at 8.30am, for our Christian meditation.

A day of prayer in St Mary's on the first Sunday in Advent - a chance to spend time praying and being in God's presence. This is open to anyone. You don't need to have any special knowledge or experience - just a willingness to spend time with God. We'll provide creative materials to help you focus your prayer, but you're equally welcome to just sit quietly. You can sign up for a half- or one-hour slot at the link on our website or by emailing [email protected] - we'll let you know what slots are available and sign you up.

A beautiful service marking the beginning of Advent, which takes us from darkness into light with the lighting of candles.

Every day in Advent we will have a short, lay-led Morning Prayer service at 8.30am at St Mary's. Please do join us.

A traditional Holy Communion service using the Common Worship (modern language) book.

Weather permitting, we head outdoors after meditation for breakfast and Bible study by the firepit. There are outdoor activities for the children, based around a nature theme. Breakfast is free - just make sure you wrap up warmly in the colder months!

A traditional carol service with familiar Christmas carols and Bible readings - a lovely way to get in the Christmas spirit, followed by mince pies and mulled wine.

Our ever-popular, candlelit, Christmas Eve service at Llanrothal, with carols, poems and plenty of festive spirit. Please stay afterwards for BYO festive refreshments. Prepare for mud – if you can park a little further away, please do, and remember your wellies!
