St Mary's Church has opened a voucher-free food bank at the back of the church, for anyone struggling to make ends meet to take what they need. Stocks are a little low at the moment, and we'd greatly appreciate donations of non-perishable foods and household items. Toilet paper is always needed, and the most popular items are things that are both appealing (nothing too worthy!) and easy to cook without needing to turn the oven on. Pasta, pasta sauces, tinned fish, biscuits and non-perishable puddings go are among the items most regularly taken.
