Our next service will be at 11 am on April the 13th 2025, Palm Sunday. We hope to observe the Herefordshire tradition of distributing sweet Pax cakes on that day. Pax means Peace and our big bell, which was recently restored and rehung, carries the message Peace and Good Neighbourhood.
We are planning to take part in the first Herefordshire Histories Festival in May this year https://herefordshirehistories.org/The church will be open all week for visitors to view the exhibition. Do come if you are interested in parish history, emigration, or just want to find out more about people and places in Walterstone. Churchyard records and census information will be available. We will be at the church during the afternoons on Saturday and Sunday to greet you and offer refreshments and more information. Bring your memories, questions, photos, documents, to share and discuss. We look forward to seeing you!
